Mark Parks enlisted in the Navy and served 7 years on active duty, followed by 22 years in the Naval Reserve. He was a photographer and photo equipment repairman. His duty stations included Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; USS Saratoga, CV-60; and Navy Photo School. Mark is now self-employed at his camera repair business.
